FeroPluris is on its way to establish a regular, small-sized but very dedicated meeting for networking purposes in our resident city of Gütersloh. So we meet every two or three weeks together with other online enthusiasts and talk about various things pertaining online marketing, website creation, development and technology. The results can be fruitful.
During our last Web Monday, Markus Käkenmeister talked about marketing in social media. The presentation focused on the possibilities to use social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, in order to retain current customers and reach new ones. We crossed the Google project "Google Me" which might become a product positioned against Facebook. Obviously Google is trying to get more influence in the social media field. They are kings of the web but yet, they are not able to show their contextual ads in Facebook and Twitter so they need to explore new possibilities, because usership grows and grows and grows...
